Biography Elizabeth Bartlett, née Winters, was born on July 20, 1921 in New York City. She studied at Teachers College, receiving her BS in Education in 1941. After graduation Bartlett traveled extensively, meeting and marrying Paul Alexander Bartlett in Mexico in 1943.
